Terms of Use

Last updated: August 26, 2026

These terms cover your use of Macuum, a macOS menu bar application made by SW TECH LLC ("we," "us," "SW TECH LLC"). By downloading or using Macuum, you agree to these terms.

The app

Macuum monitors your Mac's CPU, memory, disk, and battery, and gives you tools to review and manage running processes, startup items, and cache files. Macuum only acts on processes and files belonging to your own user account, and always asks for confirmation before quitting an app or deleting a file.

Your responsibility

Macuum gives you information and one-click actions (like quitting a process, disabling a login item, or clearing cache files) to help you make decisions about your own Mac. You're in control: nothing is quit, disabled, or deleted without your confirmation. Because you're the one approving each action, please review what's being suggested before confirming it.

No warranty

Macuum is provided "as is." While we've built it to be careful and to only touch known-safe, regenerable files, we can't guarantee it will be error-free or that it's fit for every possible use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SW TECH LLC disclaims warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SW TECH LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Macuum, including loss of data, loss of battery life, or system issues, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update Macuum's features or these terms over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
